Walter Nyamilandu made it back to Malawi after the Fifa Council elections in Morocco, where he was handed an L, by a Nigerian, Amaju Pinnick, who beat him 43-8.
Upon arrival, Walter granted an interview to Malawian media practitioners, in which he said the following:
“I have done my part & I can’t say whether I will contest for the Fifa position again. All I want now is to concentrate on my Raising the Bar manifesto at Fam. I want Malawi to qualify for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations. I will work hard to fulfill what I promised in developing football.”
