Hammers focus on Super League Survival

Ekwendeni Hammers captain Eric Kaonga has said that his team’s main goal this season is simply to avoid relegation from the TNM Super League.

The Hammers boost their hopes of Super League survival after collecting six points from two games on their trip to Karonga last week.

“Of course we can survive, we always have to believe and work hard every game. At the end of the day we will see what it brings. It’s possible,” he said.

Following their 3-game unbeaten run, Ekwendeni Hammers are on second position of TNM Super League standings with 19 points from 9 games same as league leaders Silver Strikers but they are separated by a goal difference.
