The University of Malawi (Unima) has officially delinked today. Poly has gone from the Might Polytechnic to Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (Mubas) while Chanco is officially Unima. College of Medicine & Kamuzu College of Nursing have merged to Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS).
The Ministry of Education gazetted 4th May as the commencement date for Acts of Parliament Nos 27, 28 & 29 of 2021 published in the Malawi Gazette Supplement dated 26 April 2021.
In a statement, the ministry said those applying for a university spot will need to take note of the new codes.
